I created Happy Belly Wellness because I’m devoted to helping you completely nourish and love your body from the inside out. The phrase “you are what you eat” is a common one, but a more accurate version goes something like “you are what you digest”. Many people don’t realize it, but what you eat and drink not only affects you physically, but emotionally and mentally as well. That means making sure your body is firing on all cylinders, from not only the foods you’re choosing, but the thoughts you are choosing as well.
Long story short, our methods are holistic and realistic.
We embody a very “Harriet The Spy” mindset. We don’t prescribe temporary fixes, but take time to truly investigate the root cause of any imbalance, discomfort, or block that you are experiencing. Our methods are holistic and realistic. We also embody a foodie forward attitude. The world is full of delicious flavors we would never want to be deprived of just because we “Eat healthy”. Our meal plans are packed with flavor and will have even your most stubborn, health adverse relative wondering how they can have what your having at the next family get together.
We believe in bio individuality which means we honor your unique make up, from your personality to your gut chemistry. There is no one size fits all approach. We work with you to create custom plans that work for YOUR body and lifestyle.
Diet is a big part of what we do, but we also focus on reframing your relationship with food, eating habits and over all lifestyle changes that support you in reaching your goals.
In our initial consultation, we’ll dig into your past experiences with food, your present habits and any medical concerns, and your ideal health goals. I’ll use this information to create a plan with dietary recommendations, personalized meal plan and supplement regimen, as well as information that will help guide you on your Happy Belly journey. You will immediately walk away with some recommendations and meal plans to get started with.
During our follow up sessions we’ll work on getting even more into the minutiae of your health. You’ll receive continued support and coaching, and strategies to help get you to your goals more efficiently We will delve deeper in nutrition, while also exploring mindfulness, food therapy and personal development.
Getting unstuck means shining a light on some of the areas that we don’t like to look at. Through out the years, we develop beliefs, habits and rituals that we believe to be true. We create stories that we chain ourselves to. Many times these stories are the things that hold us back from taking our power back. During out sessions, we work to get to the root of these so we can find ways to shift our beliefs to make them work for us.
If theres one thing I’m sure of in this life, it’s that avocados make everything better and no two humans are alike, and that’s beautiful thing. Over the course of our sessions you will gain a better understanding of your specific metabolic make up, how to best feed your body, and how to empower yourself each and every day with a plan customized for you.
